Chapter 1

A few final revisions due back to the Journal by August 25th, but I am hoping to just get them done asap.

Chapter 2 - Multispecies

Finish the results - enrichment and figures.

Focus in on drafting the paper with those results. Goal is to have a full draft of the chapter by the end of the summer.

Chapter 4 - FHL V.pec, Eelgrass, Mussel Experiment

Finish DNA extractions (n=40 eelgrass swabs; n=32 mussel tissue) and qPCR (3-4 more plates). I will also have n=40 mussel shell swabs (swabbing before doing the mussel tissue DNA extraction). Will need to order another DNeasy Power Soil kit. So that will likely happen in Late Aug/early Sept.

I will be working remotely Aug 19-26, so I won’t be able to do lab work during that time, but I’ll be able to work on figures from the results and writing.

Continue the draft of the paper. Goal is to have a full draft completed by the end of the summer.

Crab Paper

Journal of Fish Diseases sent it back and offered that we transfer it to other journals in the Wiley Library. Some suggested journals are: Wiley Environmental Biology and Wiley Functional Ecology

Degree Milestones

I have one final Stats Tutorial meeting with Jen Ruesink on Thursday, Aug 6th. I have my Quals Q3 rescheduled for Friday, August 28th.
