Crab Paper
Resubmit somewhere else - all Wiley journals I’ve submitted it to have returned it and said it wasn’t a good fit.
Chapter 1
I resubmitted it to the journal (Wiley Ecology and Evolution) on Aug 25th… so hopefully that’s all done with no more tasks. TBD.
Chapter 2 - Multispecies
Have a draft of the paper done by mid-September to share with Drew and Steven for review.
Eelgrass, Mussel, Vibrio qPCR Project
Labwork
All remaining labwork supply needs (kits and reagents) arrived as of last Thursday!
- Finish extractions (n=32 mussel tissue; n=40 mussel shell swab)
- Finish qPCR plates
Writing
- write up methods
- write up results
Before quarter starts (9/30) –> have as much of a draft done as possible - Intro and Discussion
Degree milestones
Quals Q3 re-do –> did that on Aug 28th!
